Debian-Ubuntu controversy

Debian GNU/Linux is the basis of Ubuntu Linux, but this fact is not mentioned in the latest Ubuntu press releases. As a result, a number of Debian developers have blogged about this, often harshly criticising Ubuntu[1][2][3][4].
